 | Guido Francisco Montúfar, Research Associate. Guido studies the geometric properties of various connectionistic models in machine learning using information geometry and algebraic statistics. He will be joining us in January 2012. |
 | Jacob Turner, Graduate Student. Jacob is interested in algebraic geometry and computational commutative algebra, bridging algebraic and Boolean approaches, and quantum computing. Jacob is supported by the ARL Research Assistantship in Applied Mathematics. |
